T-joint specimen was tested under monotonic loading upto failure. The paper presents in detail the concreting of the specimen with strict quality control and health monitoring with ultrasonic scanning before and after testing. Discussion on the extent of damage to concrete and consequent reduction in strength is also included in the paper.
