Description |
As a first step to study the effect of pile driving on the behaviour of buried pipeline, the free-field soil displacement due to pile driving is evaluated. Then, the extreme bending stresses developed in the pipe section caused by the soil are compared with the vertical bending stresses. A detailed study on the various affecting the behaviour of pipeline is carried out.
