Description One of the major durability problems is the rebar corrosion in concrete. This paper presents the results of an experimental investigation on the repair of corroded reinforced concrete with fibre reinforced polymer (FRP) wraps. Eight RC columns of size 150 x 150 x 700mm were cast and four of them were subjected to accelerated corrosion test. After exposing the columns for 30 days of accelerated corrosion, specimens were repaired using CFRP and GFRP wrapping. The performance of FRP wrapping on strength enhancement under compressive load is evaluated.
