Tests carried out at SERC, Madras on 20mm thick SIFCON specimens to study their performance when subjected to static (flexure), impact and abrasion forces have proved the superior chanracterisitcs of SIFCON as compared to FRC. In the present paper, the results of the investigations carried out to study the behaviour of SIFCON under torsion have been presented.
