Description The GPS signal is a combination of more than one signal. This paper deals with a model based design technique to implement GPS signal generator for L1 frequency. It helps in proper understanding of GPS signal structure. SFF-SDR Lyrtech board has been used for this purpose. Once the proper results are obtained, the GPS signal can be down converted for further processing in the GPS receiver.
