Description |
A few damaged components from the CAT-I accidented helicopter were analyzed. Detailed analysis showed that the forks and the bolts of the blade spacing system failed by overload. The failure of the control rod is a one-time fracture and occurred due to sudden overload. There were no evidences of progressive failure such as fatigue.
