<span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family: " times="" new="" roman","serif";mso-fareast-font-family:"times="" roman";mso-ansi-language:="" en-gb;mso-fareast-language:en-us;mso-bidi-language:ar-sa"="" lang="EN-GB">Novel benzimidazole derivatives possessing two different structural moieties, pyridinyloxyphenyl benzimidazoles and indolyl benzimidazoles have been synthesized. Their antimicrobial, cytotoxic and diuretic activities have been investigated. High cytotoxicity is established <i>in vitro</i> conditions compared to standard 5-flurouracil.</span> |
