Description |
The dimeric units [RhCl2(Hhmp)(hmp)]2, where Hhmp and hmp are 2-(hydroxymethyl)pyridine and anionic deprotonated
ligand, respectively, is formed by strong hydrogen bonding interactions between pairs of Hhmp and hmp ligands that act as building blocks
and self-assemble remarkably through aromatic π-π and CH/-π interactions to generate a nanoporous supramolecular structure exhibiting
permanent porosity and selective adsorption properties.
