Description THE COMBINED EFFECT OF PRECIPITATION AND DISPERSION HARDENING IN POWDER METALLURGICAL ALLOYS IS VERY LIMITEDLY REPORTED IN LITERATURE. IN THE PRESENT INVESTIGATION SINTERING AND AGE- HARDENING BEHAVIOR OF 2014 AL-ALLOY WITH 4 VOL. % OF DISPERSOIDS LIKE TRIBALOY, WC, TIC-MO(SUB 2)C AND ALUMINA HAVE BEEN STUDIED. THE EFFECT OF DIFFERENT SINTERING ATMOSPHERES HAS ALSO BEEN INVESTIGATED. TERMS: M--(U)AGE HARDENING, 2014, SINTERING, MCIC--JOURNAL ARTICLES PRECIPITATION HARDENING, DISPERSION HARDENING, POWDER METALLURGY, POROSITY, ALUMINUM ALLOYS, ALUMINUM COMPOSITES, TUNGSTEN CARBIDE ADDITION, TITANIUM CARBIDE ADDITION, MOLYBDENUM ADDITION, ALUMINA ADDITION, DENSITY, ULTIMATE TENSILE STRENGTH, COBALT ADDITION.
