| Description |
The evaluation of lubricants in rolling mill has posed several problems because of number
of parameters involved. In order to.avoid mill testing during initial development
programme, a laboratory test method was devised on Amsler disc machine by employing
two discs under double sliding conditions. The results obtained on five oils utilisingthis
technique have been found to be in close agreement with the mill results.
