Five commercialoils have been evaluated
in a laboratoJ:y rolling mill with multi
-oasS experiments. '!he s1rips obtained have
been eXCJ!\inedby SEM. '!he,sane lubricants
were studiedby our technique (2) in 1111s18r
disc machine and the discs eXCJ!\inedby SEM.
A comparison w~ then attempted between these
data which showed that the simple disc machine
test offers good possibility to evaluate the
cold rolling oils.
