The effectiveness of various preservatives at different concentration levels, alone as well as in different combinations, on the
latex of Euphorbia royleana and E. neriifolia has been studied with respect to change of pH, extent of coagulation, change of
colour and extent of putrefaction. Response of various coagulating agents has also been studied at different pH in order to
select a suitable coagulating agent and standardise conditions for coagulation.
