Description |
Methods of calculating th8 effectivenessfactor of catalysts, and
their limitations, have been reviewed. The effectivenessfactor
of commercial cobolt-molybdenum hydrodesulphurization catalysts
are calculated by different methods and compared with
known effectivenessfactors. It is concluded that more realistic
values of the eJfectivenessfactor can be obtained by the method
which eliminates the use of eJjectivedijfusivity and the intrinsic
reaction rate constant.
