Description The global green concept demands acofriendly lubricants and greases from the OIL indusby. The synthatk: lubricants, though costly, tailor made to meet requisite performance may be made biodegradable. Keeping this in view, polyesters are synthesized which are >90% biodegradable. These bases are being evaluated for lubricity performance with a view for their application as metalworking fluids. The present paperdesaibes the work carried out and discussesthe results obtained.
