lojoba oil, because of its higher stability as compared
to other vegetable oils, can be a potential source for formulating
lubricating oils. The scope of its applications can
be widened if some of its properties can be modified. Results
of studies carried out on the alcoholysis of jojoba oil
using short chain alcohols to prepare esters with improved
pour points are reported.
