Production of low sulphur heavy
stocks is increasinq with the increased
processing of indigenous crude
oils .in our refineries. Although attempts
are being made to substitute
regular yrade fuel furnace oil with
this product, but because of its
being cj'low price product and difficult
disposal, it is desirable to examine
its upgradation into high value products
like middle distillate and petroleum
coke. This paper presents experimental
results obtained with BH feed stocks
using Thermal Conversion Processes
and discusses product yields and
their quality.
