In order to characterize the ground vibration due to piling and to have basic understanding of he structural response under this excitation, experimental investigation to measure ground vibrations and response of concrete frames due to driving of steel pile of 45 mm diameter was carried out at a site in the campus. This paper presents the details of the experimental testing, instrumentation, collection of vibration data, acquisition and processing of recorded signals using PC-based data acquisition system.
