This paper discusses the investigations carried out at the SERC, Chennai to find the influence of corrosion of steel fibres on the strength and toughness characteristics of SFRC by subjecting the specimens to accelerated corrosion by continuous wetting in salt solution and subsequent drying Steel fibres produced in India were used in the investigation.
