Description |
An analytical model for the fracture of plain and reinforced concrete is proposed in this paper based on the equations of equilibrium and the softening behaviour using blunt crack nodel. The proposed model takes into account size-effect by modifying the concrete tensile stress-strain characteristics using fracture parameters evaluated by simple size effect law test method.
