Description |
The aim of the paper is to present the buckling loads obtained for the stiffened model towers tested by Mungan by employing a doubly-curved triangular shell element with a compatible stiffener element. The buckling loads obtained by employing the theoretical model have been found to agree well with those obtained by experiments.
