| Description |
This paper describes a parallel computational approach for linear dynamic analysis of large structures. The parallel algorithm discussed in this paper has been devised within the broad framework of domain decomposition. A parallel version of modal superposition technique has been devised and employed for computing response of the structure subjected dynamic loads.
