Description |
In the present paper, some of the important parameters of loop antenna were simulated at 13.56 MHz for radio frequency identification (RFID) devices to be exploited in underground mines for enhancing their operating range. Copper and aluminium have been considered for materials of loop antenna. Two shapes at 13.56 MHz were considered for simulation namely, octagonal and circular. As per simulation results, copper loops are performing better than that of aluminium. On the other hand, octagonal shape is giving fairly good concert than circular.
