The objectives of this paper are to share experiences of developing Union Catalogue at Knowledge Resource Centre of Central Glass and Ceramic Research Institute as a member of the project entitled KNOWGATE. It also shares some of the issues required for future implementation at individual lab level at Centre of Central Glass and Ceramic Research Institute to harness the benefits of the software for which it is also meant for i.e. to perform housekeeping activities of the library.
