Description In this work, we have studied effects of plasma actuation while controlling bypass transition of flow over the top surface of DU96-W-180 aerofoil. We have discussed some of the important plasma simulation models proposed in the literature and presented results using a hybrid model given by [Lemire and Vo, J. Turbomach., 2011, 133(1), 011017]. Results show that the computed body force is localized near the electrodes. Due to action of plasma generated body force, bypass transition on the aerofoil surface is delayed.
