Description |
A protein mediated calcium hydroxyapatite (HAp) coating is prepared by carrying out roughening and ultrasonic cleaning surface of metal substrate by known method using acetone, ethanol and deionized water to obtain cleaned metal substrate, and immersing dried HAp nucleated metal substrate in another simulated body fluid (SBF(O)) for 2-4 days at 35-37° C and pH 6-6.5, washing by deionized water for 3-4 times and drying at 20-30° C for about 1-2 hours to obtain desired protein mediated calcium HAp coating on metal substrate.
