Subject Chemistry

Description Among the various diseases, Alzheimer’s disease is one of the diseases where aggregation of Aβ42 peptide plays a significant role. But detail understanding of the disease propagation pathway is unknown. Cancer is another fatal disease and there is an inverse association between cancer and Alzheimer’s disease. But the effect of synthetic Aβ42 peptide on cancer cells has not been discussed yet. Therefore, main objectives of the total work are: a) Understanding the aggregation of Aβ42 peptide in brain and propagation of Alzheimer’s disease using liposome as artificial cell like system. b) Understanding the link between Alzheimer’s disease and cancer
