Description Gall bladder stones are studied as new sensor materials for biomedical and other applications. The material samples have been examined the chemical composition by using an X-Ray diffractometry and alpha-quartz is found to be present in the these stones which is responsible for piezoelectric property of such materials to develop new sensors.
