Description The present study focuses attention on the effect of surfactants on modified electrodes with molecules of prussian blue and its analogs which possess one or more redox centres and offer themselves as model surface systems for investigating surface effects. Among the surfactants sutdies the cationic surfactant cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide has offered enhanced film growth and excellent electrochemical revesibility in addition to perceptible changes in elelctrochromic performance of the chosen model system. Current-time transients and visible adsorption spectral data are presdented to supplement and substantiate the enhanced effects
