Description 756-761
This study proposed an adaptive transmission power aware cluster scheduling algorithm using multiple channels in a wireless personal area network (WPAN) in the presence of wireless local area network (WLAN) interference. Algorithm includes node identification, channel allocation, clustering and time scheduling. In proposed algorithm, performance metrics [bit error rate (BER), packet error rate (PER), throughput, average end-end delay and average jitter] were  measured through Qualnet simulation and it is found effective in an IEEE 802.15.4 cluster-tree network in the presence of multiple IEEE 802.11 interferers.
