Bank as we all know are the lending agents for the industries that contribute immensely in environment degradation and so needs to be all alert in the modern era for its own sustainability and existence as well as showing its concern for the environment as a member of the society. The present paper looks into the aspects of green banking from the point of view of protecting the environment and providing sustainable development in the society
