Description Coalbed methane is formed by geological or biological process in coal seams, which offers significant environmental benefits over other fossil fuel. Ecosystem/biological study is more susceptible to exploration for CBM/Natural gases reservoir but there are few studies that have been conducted on the environmental impacts of this type of resource extraction. The present paper discussed about the prospect of CBM reservoir on the basis of ecological marks. In this regardstwo distinguish field chosen are CBM producing area and non-mining/CBM area. Samples of Soil, Water and Coalhave been collected for analysis and resulted parameters correlated with each other tounderstood coalification area and probability of existing CBM reservoir on the basis of ecological substances.
