Description It is very important to analyze the characterization properties of material for their physical, mechanical and their other properties. These phenomena totally depends on their grain orientation different phases like austenite, bainite, pearlite, ferrite etc. in the present project i.e, characterization of vanadium steel for different percent reduction of rolling the characterization properties are processed with the help of optical microscopy and transmission electron microscopy. Different percent reduction of rolled sample as 40,60and 80 percent rolled sample are processed with optical microscopy to observe the grain of the metal and the shapes size and distributions of different phases revealed by different etching. Then these samples are further processed with transmission electron microscopy to obtain the precipitate size of vanadium. Further these are processed with vicker hardness test to obtain the hardness of different percent reduction of rolled sample. And in last these samples gone under tensile testing to obtain the tensile strength.
