Tetramethylthiuram disulphide supported on naphthalene provides a rapid and economical method for the preconcentration of copper from various samples. Copper forms a complex with tetramethylthiuram disulphide supported on naphthalene in the column at <em>p</em>H 4.2-7.5. The method has been applied for the determination of copper in various alloys, synthetic samples and environmental samples also. |
