Description |
High Mn Twinning-Induced Plasticity (TWIP) steels are highly ductile austenitic steels strengthened by a high rate of work hardening resulting from the generation of deformation induced twins [1,2].Transformation-Induced Plasticity (TRIP) sheet steels typically contain equi-
axed ferrite, bainite, retained austenite, and martensite. The retained austenite is of particular importance because its deformation-induced transformation to martensite
contributes to excellent combinations of both strength and ductility.
