<img src='http://www.niscair.res.in/jinfo/Beta.gif' border=0>-Keto enol ethers from cyclic 1,3-diketones have been synthesized in very good yield under solvent-free microwave irradiation conditions from differently substituted alcohols and <img src='http://www.niscair.res.in/jinfo/Beta.gif' border=0>-diketones in presence of ferric chloride as catalyst.
