Description CFRP components were fabricated using special in-house developed resin injection method for very complicated components to be used in SATCOM application by space application center, Ahmedabad. Presently all these components were made out of aluminum alloy using various machining techniques which was very time consuming. By replacing these aluminum components by CFRP components 30 - 40 % of weight reduction was achieved and also all the qualification tests for the above components was successfully completed.
