Description Despite the advancement of medical and pharmaceutical chemistry, the chemotherapy is still a major challenge for targeting drugs into liver to fight against life-threatening hepatocellular diseases. For many diseases e.g. viral hepatitis, arsenicosis, hepatocarcinogenesis, there are hundred of compounds that could be excellent drugs for the treatment of these various hepatic diseases. But the treatment of hepatocellular diseases with many drugs leads to several side effects thus reducing the quality of life. However, delivering these drugs to the target tissue has been a challenge for pharmaceutical area throughout history.
