Description Cycloaddition of 3-O-allyl-1,2-isopropylidene N-Ph nitrones afforded appreciably increased yields of oxepanes compared to the corresponding N-Me or N-Bn nitrones. Higher yields permitted some useful further transformations of the oxepanes.
