Description |
The aim of the present investigation is to study the electrolyte flow characteristics in a continuous stirred
tank electrochemical reactor (CSTER) using residence time distribution (RTD). The flow behavior of electrolyte
has been experimented using pulse tracer technique and the residence time distribution curves
at various operating conditions are critically analyzed. A three-parameter model has been developed to
explain the flow characteristic of electrolyte in a continuous stirred tank electrochemical reactor and the
model simulations are validated with the experimental observations.
