| Description |
Interrelations among eight coal parameters in the form of a nomogram have been presented so that with the help of the experimental values of any two of the major parameters expected values of the remaining six can be predicted with reasonable accuracy. To draw the nomographs mainly the formulae showing the correlations of coal properties have been utilized and some new formulae developed. Such correlations are valid for coals lying within a certain range of rank and petrographic composition. The nomogram is applicable more accurately to vitrain rich coals called normal bituminous coals .
